  auren Benjamin has been a studying Tibetan Buddhism since 2000, through teachings principaly by Geshe Michael Roach and Venerable Sumati Marut. She has taken Lifetime Lay Vows, Bodhisattva Vows and the advanced vows, and is currently studying these teachings with Geshe Michael Roach. She is president of ACI-LA and on the board of ACI National. She has a Master's Degree from Claremont Graduate University in Cultural Studies.
