ACI-LA is a rapidly growing initiative dedicated to bringing ancient Buddhist principles of love, compassion, altruism, and wisdom to our own time and place.  We are committed to carefully preserving an authentic Buddhist lineage while responsibly adapting it to the Western context.  All teachings are based on the ancient scriptures of the Buddhist tradition but are presented in terms intelligible and relevant to modern, Western lives.

Your contribution helps us transmit and disseminate this life-changing wisdom into Western culture using a variety of media, including live classes centered in Los Angeles; recorded audio and video teachings available for download on our website; condensed podcasts of those teachings; and a variety of written materials – all made freely available through the work of our volunteer teachers and staff.
